Pylontech- First enterprise who obtained TüV Rheinland IEC63056 new standard Certification After passing the first UL9540A:2019 evaluating Thermal Runaway Fire Propagation Confirmation, Pylontech obtained the first IEC63056:2020 Certification again in the short time.  IEC 63056:2020 specifies requirements and tests for the product safety of secondary lithium cells and batteries used in electrical energy storage systems with a maximum DC voltage of 1 500 V (nominal). Basic safety requirements for the secondary lithium cells and batteries used in industrial applications are included in IEC 62619. This document provides additional or specific requirements for energy storage systems. Since this document covers batteries for various electrical energy storage systems, it includes those requirements which are common and minimum to the energy storage systems. Therefore, in order to take action for more safety regulation of lithium-ion batteries, IEC technical committee SC 21A has formulated a framework standard system for several important application fields. The combination of IEC 63056 and IEC 62619 has become the basic safety requirement for energy storage battery.
